Zoe in her Halloween costume. She's my little pumpkin :)  It's sick how much I enjoy dressing this dog up. I think she likes it though. She even poses for the pics, notice? Mom's dog was a tiger for Halloween but couldn't hold her still long enough to get a good shot. Hope you all have a "Happy Halloween!"

I signed up a while back at  the Pumpkin Patch & Co. Breast blog to do a Christmas ornament. Finally finished it & it's on it's way to Jean :) I was glad to be able to be a part of such a great cause.

I've been talking a lot about Zoe (the new puppy) & sort of felt bad for never posting a pic of my other baby Kipper. He's a 13 yo. Peekapoo. Took this pic this morning. At night I pile all the pillows from my bed onto a loveseat I have in the bedroom. He came in & burrowed himself in them. Was so sweet peeking out from behind them. Working on one final Halloween ornament. Hopefully will have a pic up in another day or so. Until next time, keep on stitching.

New Toy

I got a puppy a few days ago & hubby went out & got this yesterday. Does that seem fair? I guess factoring in, I'll be riding it more than he will, may make it fair & square. :)  Speaking of puppies, here's a pic of Zoe taking it easy.

Wish I had the cares of this little girl. Been feverishly working on my breast cancer awareness ornament so I can get it shipped this weekend. Fingers crossed, that will happen. Until next time, keep on stitching.

Had a blast designing & stitching this little design. Don't know if you can tell by the pic but I finished it as a stand up with a couple of tassels. Finished design measures 5 inches tall by 4¾ inches wide. 

Hubby decided to take me on a 3 day trip to Atlanta, Georgia for my birthday last week. This is a pic of Stone Mountain. It was sooo beautiful. Had a great trip & very memorable 41st birthday. 

This is the park surrounding the mountain. They had it decorated for autumn. It was gorgeous. 

On the way home we stopped by Books-a-Million & I couldn't help but pick this up. Have you seen it?  Lot of cute designs inside. Thanks for stopping by my blog. Until next time, keep on stitching.

New Addition

Zoe

Weighing in at 1.5 lbs. is our newest little family member. She's a Chihuahua & I wish you could see how tiny she actually is. I brought her home from Sonora, Kentucky, September 22nd. Haven't been able to cross stitch because I've been so busy with her but hopefully will pick it up tonight. Got a new Halloween design almost ready so keep checking back. Oops, I forgot

...that I was suppose to attend jury duty orientation last night. Ugh, I feel like a total idiot. If I don't post for a few days, know that I'm sitting in the county jail.

VBS Birdhouses

If you're wondering where I've been - I've been busy building these 25 birdhouses as thank you gifts for all of the VBS volunteers. Wow, hard to believe another VBS has came & gone. It was certainly a great one too as 7 preteens accepted Christ this week :)

Happy 18th Birthday

 It's hard to believe that this cute little blond curly haired baby boy is now this :

grown 18 year old man of his own today. 

Here's a pic of his Senior prom taken a week ago. I'm sure it's gonna be memorable in more ways than one. This was the weekend that Nashville had it's great flood & seeing as how we aren't that far from Nashville we received some of that flooding as well. It rained cats & dogs. I felt sorry for them as they were getting out of their limo in their fancy clothes but it looks like they dried out well for their picture :o)  It's also hard to believe that in 13 weeks, 4 days from now he will be moving onto a university campus.... It's hitting me hard today. I'm so proud of the man he's turned into though & I wish him all the happiness in the world.

I won Sadie's blogoversary prize & just look at all the stuff that was in my parcel package. All kinds of cross stitch goodies that's sure to make a cross stitcher drool :o) She also made a scissor fob that's just too adorable. Thanks so much Sadie & I hope you're having a wonderful day!!
